Welcome to Day 5!

108 Breaths to Freedom

Today is Day 5 of your 8 day 108 Breaths to Freedom challenge. Today, we’ll do our first pranayama practice. This will be an energizing practice and I recommend you do not do this practice right before bed. You’ll use your threshold breath that we ascertained over Days 1 thru 4, and you will need:

25 Minutes of uninterrupted time to focus & practice
A comfortable, quiet place to sit, either on the floor or in a chair
Your threshold breath number

Yoga Grace Breath Challenge Worksheet
Pen or pencil to create your personal practice

Ready?

Click the link below, do the exercise, and then come back and take a few moments to reflect on your experience using the reflection questions below. If you can, take a few moments before this pranayama practice to do some breath-centric movement. This will help you find a full breath to practice with.

Day 5 Reflection Questions: Did you feel an increase in energy after the practice? What was your experience of the intention to stay relaxed and find ease even with the building of breath capacity? When can you see that it would be useful for you to use an energizing pranayama practice?

Jen’s gentle and informed approach allowed me to tap into my own body wisdom. I was able to shift from thinking to knowing; from doing to being. I will forever be grateful to Jen and continue to integrate the learning I started with her into my life.
