SPRING SEASONAL RESET
Sunday, March 26th - Sunday, April 2nd
Change is afoot. There is stirring and unfurling. Trees are magically thawing circles around themselves. The hillsides have faint hues of red as the buds on the trees begin to stretch towards the light. The air is more humid. The light is shifting and lengthening, encouraging the birds to begin practicing their love songs.
Humans are changing too. We are waking up and starting to stretch out more and reach for more light. You may notice your appetite and energy levels shifting now that the days are getting longer. We are not immune to the shifts of nature, much as we might try. During transition times when the forces of nature are less stable, we want to take special care to stay nourished and keep our digestive system calm so we don’t get destabilized ourselves. We can navigate through that by slowing down, paying attention to and simplifying what we are taking in and trying to digest.
Ayurveda offers practices to help us move through seasonal transitions with grace and ease. As a sister science to Yoga, Ayurveda is also rooted in the idea that we are all connected and therefore governed by the same forces of nature. This healing system has a variety of practices to support health and wellbeing by bringing yourself into balance with those forces within yourself and the world around you.
I’m hosting a an 8-day Spring Seasonal Reset from March 26th to April 2nd.
This is an 8 day journey rooted in Ayurvedic principles, where we’ll come together as a community to collectively slow down and observe ourselves and our world. We’ll be guided by the intention to respect our relationship to nature and to make space to lean into the transition from winter to spring.
As a participant, during these 8 days you will commit to following a protocol of daily practices and food preparation and intake designed to keep you in balance and health.
As the host, I will provide:
the full plan for the 8 days with guidelines, suggested daily menus with recipes and a list of things you’ll need for the reset
daily encouragement, tips, and journal prompts
guided meditations and yoga practices (live and recorded)
a private space where participants can communicate, share their experiences, and ask questions
This reset is entirely on-line and can be done on your schedule. I will be offering a few livestream classes but recordings will be provided if you can’t make the class.
Cost is $65/person (does not include recommended herbal teas and supplement ~ $35 and food supplies)
