One of the greatest gifts of yoga is the practice of Svadhyaya, or self-study. In yoga, the intention of self-study is not self-improvement or to fix ourselves. As with all the steps of yoga, it is a path to liberation and freedom from suffering.
With Svadhyaya, we seek to understand the boxes that we’re wrapped in and to uncover the gift inside. It is a lifelong journey.
We can do Svadhyaya through movement, breath, meditation, and even prayer. It is a prevailing practice and invites compassionate reflection on both your deepest self and your relationship to the world around you.
Join Elissa Cobb & Jen Peterson online for a practice of Svadhyaya.

We’ll share the intentions and practices of Svadhyaya that can help you find harmony within and deep connection and unity without.
